introduction
OCGCYA is a collegiate and young adults ministry that focuses on providing spiritual guidance and support to college students and young adults between the age of 18-27 in the Orange County area. The ministry offers various programs and activities, including monthly worship services, bible studies, community service opportunities, and social events. OCGCYA has never had a professional marketing effort and is looking to expand its reach and engage with a younger and more tech-savvy audience by incorporating social media into its marketing strategy.
objectives
The objective of this social media campaign is to increase OCGCYA’s online presence, engage with the appropriate target audience, and ultimately increase attendance at OCGCYA events and activities.
results
After the launch of the social media marketing campaign, OCGCYA saw a significant increase in engagement on its social media accounts. In the first 6 month, the number of followers increased by 80%, and there was a 37.2% increase in social media engagement. Attendance at OCGCYA events also increased by 200%. The use of social media influencers and cross-promotional strategy proved to be particularly effective in reaching a younger and more diverse audience. Overall, the social media marketing campaign was a success in increasing OCGCYA’s online presence and engagement with its target audience.
