introduction
The client approached me with the challenge of rebranding their social media account and increasing their online presence & engagement. They want to build a strong community that would be passionate about their mission and spread the word about their organization. The client want to leverage social media to achieve these goals but needed a clear marketing & branding strategy in place.
objectives
- Establish a visual identity and rebrand its logo to reflect its mission and values.
- Develop a content strategy that focuses on creating educating, inspiring, and compelling content that highlights AIYM’s work on the community.
- Amplify user generated content and reputation management to provide recognition and a sense of community to the individuals who reach out and contributed.
results
- Increased engagement: AIYM’s social media pages saw a significant increase in engagement with their target audience. AIYM's social media pages have gained 8.9% more followers, increased their reach by 153%, and seen a 44.3% increase in content interactions such as likes and comments.
- Boosted donations: Through fundraising campaigns, donations to AIYM were up by 17.54% within the first two months. The social media page was pivotal in communicating fundraising campaigns and events that are happening and building a sense of community.
- Enhanced brand awareness: AIYM’s brand awareness increased by over 168% due to the social media campaign and rebranding efforts. The new logo and visual identity helped to better reflect the organization's mission and values, and the community-centric approach of the campaign helped the organization to become a household name in the community.
